Introducing MySelf
« on: Mar 9th, 2010, 2:49pm »

Just thought I would take a few seconds to introduce myself to everyone. I previously heard about arb betting 5 years ago. But did not really study the in and outs. A conversation at lunch 2 weeks ago jogged my memory and I have been reading up as much as I can.

I am going to playing on paper for 2 weeks to see how easy or difficult the whole thing is. Of course when I first started to read up on arbing I was thinking of making a healthy living do very little  Roll Eyes Of course this is not reality and I know I will have to put in the hours to make any money at all. There will be even be times when I get it wrong and I will loose money  cry but hopefully these will be few and far between and I will be able to make some money  Cool

Like any n00b I have lots and lots of questions. I will only list 2 and I think they have been asked a million times before

1:  How much do most people start of with as their arbing budget?
2:  If there was one peice of advice that you could give to a n00b what would that be?

1.Most people probably start off with a couple of thousand, but that is not recommended. How much you should start with depends on what you want out of it.... If you want full time, then you need around $50,000.

2. Take full advantage of every bonus you can get Smiley

I started off with £2k.
Advice.... read as much as you can (which you are doing), get all the bonuses you can then start slow with low stakes and build up.

Currently I only have an account with Bet365 and the only bonuses I ever seem to get from them is in play betting.  Huh

I guess that will change with the more I bet.

Thanks for the responses Smiley
