The sad word "Limit"
« on: Feb 4th, 2010, 5:33am »

hey guys, here i come again with another question.

If i understood it right you need the " Limit-bookies" too find arbs.
So either you have a good run for 6 months or you start making new accounts.

BUT, when you guys get limited @ bookies.... brings me the question:
How much do you get limited in diff bookies?
cause in my opinion to get limited too 100$ permanent isent so bad
If u can arb 100$'s you still can make some bucks....

And also ive understand that some sites limit you too 0-3$

Mabie we can start fill a list of witch bookies  limit you to a reasonable level, and those who dont.

We don`t need a list of which books limit and which books don`t,we just get stuck in there and use them the best way we can till we get limited, then if you have the benefit of other ID`s to use then you can use them again and if you`re clever enough you will have learnt from the first account how to make the second account last longer......and so on.

But i`m not about to tell you, find out for yourself, all you need to find out is whether a book is safe or not.

yes u do need "limit-books" because they are the SOURCE of arbs - their odds are constantly out of line. u will never run out of books who don't limit u because their prices are always in line. Some soft books will limit you to 1/20 at first and that is like $50-100 on a football match. More aggressive books will scale you down to 1/100 straight away - that is like $10-20. The most aggressive books such as Boylesports will limit you to effectively nothing - u will see a screen saying 'your bet is rejected by our automatic risk control' for most matches and, for an extremely high-profile match, you might be allowed to stake $0.33.  Cool

bonus hunting in my opinion is a waste of time and the best way to stuff yr acc up and all for $100,cum on!
a book wants gamblers, gamblers win and lose
any books business model is simple turnover at plus 100%
a book needs to be a book! eg have an opinion not just a computer/software some are some arent!
ask yourself a question! pinny 102% others 108% one wants to take a bet,the others a waste of time?why?
someone lead the market others will follow!
who makes the most money,i think the answer is obvious
with over 2000 books theres plenty over depth in the market(and probarbly 3 times that in illegal books)
open a book,scalp the bonus,get limited.Open a book,cash it up,fuc the bonus,have a bet all good!
euro books are weak and followers, aussie books have a backbone simple!

Its diificult to say that bonus scalping is waste of time. You have may diff bookies, some of them are just usefull for bonus. You also can arb your bonus out or just play your bonus out with a little lose, but bookie wont get you as an arber. Bookies are diff, approach can be different too, and you have decide how will you act with certain bookie.

I disagree... I wish there were more of them around... Last year I made $25K from bonuses without having to do anything special... I did not get limited because of the bonus but because of the line I chose to bet on and mainly because I won.

Having an opinion = gambling and if books business model is gambling perhaps they can do it on Betfair with no infrastructure etc..

some books you should think carefully about the bonus - boyle might limit you during your initial scalping bets and you miss the opportunity to ever make a big arb or 2 with them.  whereas how could you possibly turn down bet365 current offfer where you roll the bonus with a nice arb.

it depends on the country i guess for example for greek residents many bookies give generous bonuses with great conditions and u can make easy money combining arbs by the same time....bonus hunting of course is not waste of money u can make 10k per month only with bonus hunting if u can find ids....
