great news guys. Can't wait to see who gets locked up next. Is this the end of the 'golden era' of gold coast arbitrage scams?

Toppodds,  I think your celebrations  are way too premature ,   at the moment Alan Davenport has only been charged with writing a few rubber cheques ,  no - one else has been charged with anything , no  one   has been  locked  up   ,     all this talk of  people going to jail and case  closed is completely ridiculous .

Untill the Queensland government  start changing some  laws  these  SCAM  companies will continue to pop up and promote Sports Arbitrage , Horse Racing Systems, and any of the other get rich quick schemes.

yeah but either way they are in the books, and there are around 800 - 1000 people who are willing help with investigation and to testify against that ratbag.

It certainly is no where near the end but now they have relised its a ponzi investment scheme and not nesecerily a gambling scam its now a police freud squad issue and that the big difference.

But by no way have i said or believe its the end etc etc far from it,its the start of the end! Wink

Just keep sending info to that police link and send the link on to everyone you know, agesist how about putting the link on your site and others you post at.

Unlikely. It usually all 'disappears' faster than they can catch crooks when it comes to these sorts of scams.

If you read the newspaper article, you will see it says that his wife is going to divorce him - chances are she has all of the money. They will get divorced, and then he will be bankrupt. Then he will move back in with his wife and reconcile their differences, and they will both live happily ever after...

Be that as it may, I do know for a fact that while Julie Le Franc was a part owner / director of WTS (up until November last year), she purchased over $2m of property in her name which will probably have to be sold to make payments to WTS clients as she bought these while a WTS director!
