Arb-a-Trader (AusSoft or GlobalSoft) ***SCAM*** « on: May 22nd, 2007, 2:01am »   Hi everyone.  I'm from Australia and trying to do some due diligence before I buy arbitrage software called Arb-a-Trader which is distributed through AusSoft in Australia or GlobalSoft in the UK.  It costs $7,800 and is going up to $16,500 (Australian $).   www.aussoft.net.au or www.globalsofttechnologies.com   Does anyone know if this software is a scam?   Thank you!!   Susan

(And I look!)   I'd wait this one out a while a while, and see if any scam reports come up....

Don't tell the bookmakers their odds are being locked in by an external force!

Re: Arb-a-Trader Software (AusSoft or GlobalSoft) « Reply #8 - on: May 22nd, 2007, 5:53am »   Damn...it sounds so good but judging from you guys, it must be a scam.   Features I've been told from my many conversations:   *  Linked to 220 bookmakers *  Have a master account that you bet with for these bookies *  Updates every minute   *  At least 50 to 400 arbs a day *  Takes 20 to 30 seconds to place bets *  When you click "place bet" the odds are frozen so there is no chance they'll change by the time you place your bet with the second bookie (I've asked about this three times) -- was told it is 100% RISK FREE *  1 - 2 hours to get money back into your account with 30 of the bookies *  No arbs shown that are under 1% *  There is a 15 day money back guarantee -- if the program doesn't make you 15% back on your investment over the 15 days, they'll give your money back -- so basically you can't just change your mind and get a refund *  There is no trial or photos on the net of the software etc.     Are there other programs that are similar and A LOT cheaper?  My brother was suss from the very start and said I should be looking at online ones like www.arbitragepro.com etc.

No trial or screenshots either and a 'master' account whatever that is-total scam imo.

Re: Arb-a-Trader Software (AusSoft or GlobalSoft) « Reply #10 - on: May 22nd, 2007, 6:07am »   Thank you all VERY VERY MUCH for your help and advice.     I thought it may have been worth the money because it does EVERYTHING for you and they said it is 100% risk free.  A lot of the arb websites I've read say there is a learning period for the first few months and there is still a risk etc whereas this program figures it ALL out for you from the very first trade and they said they guarantee you make a profit with every trade.  They say that with compounding you can make about 40% every month just on 1% - 5% trades?!?!  Other arb sites I've seen said 10% a month so that's why I got excited!   The software developer Colin Boyan is apparently very very good and has developed trading programs for banks in Switzerland, Hong Kong etc.  He made Global Trader.  I thought that maybe he'd clicked onto something and found a new way that guaranteed profit or something (which on the DVD they said he had developed "special" software but obviously not).   Should have known it sounded too good to be true!   Feel like a bit of a dickhead now!!!   Thanks for saving me $7,800!!!!!
