Just like with Nikos's thread, I don't have a problem with the thread but don't think it should be posted under Global Announcements.

aegist, you're joking (or made a mistake) deleting that part of the thread, right?

I was just thinking the same thing. Explanation needed, in my opinion.

Most people cannot simply tell you which alert service is the best because most people simply find one which they like, then stick with that for most of the rest of their arbing career. It is very difficult to change alert services once you get used to one. Each have their own peculiarities, styles and 'features', and constantly jumping from alert service to alert service isn't worth the effort (once you have settled down on one).

So when it comes to inter-alert-services comparisons, there are very few. The only ones I know of, are Alan Seymours, Nikos' and a few that I did several years ago now.

Alan Seymour appears to be another arm on the ZRA/SAW marketting leviathan, while I at least know Nikos is a real person and I personally trust him. My own reviews are so old now as to be mostly useless (alert services are not static objects - they change constantly). Thats why I have asked Nikos to write a summary of his reviews up on SAG. So you can see them on the SAG blog, or you can see the more detailed reviews on Nikos' greenbook.gr website.

But even these won't really tell you which alert service is 'the best' - they are all, afterall, only subjective reviews.

Hello,

I have been searching the best arbs manually for few weeks from now. I am now looking for software. I read hundred of posts regarding software. Who can simply tell me what is the best software I can use. I am financial engineer so I can build small little programs to make it works perfectly for my use.

Thank you for your answer!

Best regards

Simon
