I have a local football game, from one of the lower league in my country starting in 45 min. Is it somehow possible to go out and beat the bookie on livebets??? the match is not on TV. The bookie may have a feed, but how know what the delay is on that...

Bookies have their scouts and reporters on the match, they operate via mobile phone and some other equipement. There are companies that offer scouting and reporting from live matches to bookies. You can try to go on a stadion with an palm computer and connect throught mobile operator and see how BF or other bookies will react and how fast they react.

Just came home from the game. The stadion is very small, so I can sit on bench with my laptop. Got a bet on at the first goal, but it was voided, because they have a "danger period", where all bets are voided if a goal are scored. There was no video live feed on site. I talked to the information tower, and they said that they phone in goals to reuters, maybe they send them on to bookies.

@DonS Most of matches are covered by scouts, they dont use video cameras. They just are in telephone contact with company or bookie. 1 scout at the stadium is enought to report, and all bookies get the infromations. The scouts are traind to be fast, they get some extra money + free tickets, mostlly they re students or young ppl. But it is possible that some matches arent covered.

Well assuming you're running a 1.95-1.95 book you'd need 2000 euro per side just to pay the scout which seems a lot on the very lowest matches with 3 men and a dog watching. Makes me think they're running a greater profit margin by freerolling people by holding their bets pending for longer than necessary and accepting only if goals are scored against the punter.....

In the past 20 years Germany has 1 WC gold, 1 WC silver and 1 WC bronze, 1 Euro Gold and 2 Euro silvers, whereas England has 1 WC semi and 1 Euro semi in the same timespan. This isn't a coincidence. And in most cases, England and Germany have been fairly equal in terms of individual quality.
